Ohio Earth Food was founded in 1972 after observing the benefits of farming with natural fertilizers and being concerned with the effects of conventional / chemical farming on the environment and human health. Over the years, we have added to our line of all natural, proprietary fertilizers to include potting soil, soil amendments, pest controls, animal feed supplements and other organic products of the finest quality and proven performance for gardens, lawns and farms.

A leader of sustainable agriculture, our goal is to aid farmers and gardeners produce good, healthy food and plants, as well as improve the quality of the soil and the environment. As we have expanded into other related areas such as organic lawn and turf care, we continue to strive to help make our land safe for future generations.

Old River Farm is committed to supporting the North American Devon cattle breed and helping sustain the knowledge and wisdom gained over the centuries about cattle breeding.

OMF_LLC is a BIPOC family-owned alternative agriculture and 12-person collaborative farm micro-enterprise that will produce high-quality Virginia native and organic Mediterranean diet food items throughout the Richmond Metropolitan Statistical Area and beyond with a primary focus on sustainability, caring for the environment, celebrating the harvest, serving people, and generating profits.

Responding to double-digit growth in the fastest growing retail food category, the Organic Produce Network (OPN) was founded in January, 2017, to connect facets of the organic produce community through education, information and live events.

Produce industry veterans Matt Seeley, former vice president of marketing for The Nunes Company, and Tonya Antle, former vice president of organic sales for Earthbound Farm, are co-founders of the company.

OPN is being designed as the voice and go-to resource for all things related to organic produce. The company's mission is to inform and educate through a strong digital presence with an emphasis on original content, and complimented by engaging live events which bring together various components of the organic food community.

OPN is an informal online network providing critical and timely information such as news, updates, statistics and historical benchmarks to those in the organic fresh produce business. OPN will also provide live and online learning and networking opportunities. The OPN target audience is organic producers, handlers, distributors, processors, wholesalers, foodservice operators and retailers.

The OPN website and weekly digital newsletter OPN Connect will feature topical and relevant content related to organic fresh produce, with a special emphasis on thought-provoking commentary and analysis from leaders and influencers in the organic produce and food arena.

Founded in 2015 by husband-and-wife team Labid Ameri and Anne Bousquet, Organic Origins started out as the U.S. importing arm for Domaine Bousquet, a pioneering producer of pure, intense, 100% organically grown wines from Argentina’s Uco Valley.

Our intention is to protect our natural resources and inspire change within the fashion industry by approaching every aspect of the business through the lens of responsibility. From the sourcing of raw materials to the human beings who make our garments, we look to make the best decisions for the greater good and bring our customers along on the journey. Outerknown launched in 2015 and is sold at outerknown.com and at select premium retailers worldwide.

There are many things a college can do with that much land, but Oxford knew the best way to use this generous gift: Create a working organic farm that could not only provide fresh produce for student dining but could also provide hands-on experience that cuts across many disciplines. The farm began operation in 2014 and quickly earned a spot on the list of the Top 30 Sustainable College-Run Farms. Much of the produce from the farm winds up on the plates of Oxford students. It is also sold at Emory University’s weekly farmers market and to local community members through a subscription service.

April 2017 - Papa John’s, the nation’s third best-selling pizza chain, is introducing organic pizza toppings and gluten-free crusts in select test markets, it announced earlier this week.

The organic options—Roma tomatoes, mushrooms, green peppers, and onions—are currently only available in the Lexington, Kentucky market, while the gluten-free crusts are being tested in Los Angeles, Phoenix, St. Louis, and Nashville. (And the chain notes the gluten-free crusts may not be suitable for customers with Celiac disease as cross-contamination with wheat can occur.)

According to the chain, the move toward organic is intended to align Papa John’s with changing consumer values.

“We just think this is a trend that is going to be out there, and we want to be the first in our industry to have organic produce on our menu,” chief ingredients officer Sean Muldoon told Fortune.

Popovi Bee Farm is a small family farm that produces organic honey and bee products. It was founded by Grozdan Popov, who started dealing with bees in 1996 as a hobby. In 2004, with several other beekeepers in Bulgaria, they were the first certified beekeepers from Balkanbiosert. After 18 years of hard work, we own 250 hives, from which we produce Acacia, Manov and Polyfloral honey, bee pollen and propolis. Our apiaries are situated/located in two ecologically clean areas, so within a radius of 3 km from the site of the apiaries, the sources of nectar and pollen are mainly organically grown crops and natural vegetation. This contributes to the produced honey and bee products meeting the strict requirements for bio-certified products with exceptional purity. The certificate for organic bee products is valid for the European Union, United Arab Emirates, USA, Canada, England, Japan, Switzerland, etc. Recently, we have an online store where you can buy organic honey and biological bee products directly from us, the producers, at the most affordable prices.

Our bee farm has certificates for organic bee products from the controlling body Balkanbiosert, which is the first national body for control and certification of organic production. It works with well-trained and highly qualified staff and offers quality and affordable services to organic farmers, processors and traders. "Balkan Biocert" is a product of international cooperation aimed at meeting the needs of Bulgarian biological operators.

Greetings! Pouring Violet honors the regenerative, holistic agricultural, and human wellness practices of the past and embraces the ecological and ethical biodynamic principles of the present. The ancestors acknowledged and gave thanks for the mutualistic relationship between humans, earth's creatures, plant medicine, and the universal shifts of the cosmos...and so do we.

"This isn't a business, it's my Soul's purpose." This truth is a beautiful reminder of who I am and why I'm here. I'm led by the Spirits of the ancestors who honored plants as medicine and by the Spirits of plants that form symbiotic relationships with the land and its inhabitants. As a generational BIPOC farmland owner who uses holistic land steward practices, I'm an advocate who reminds us that we are all responsible for caring for the earth and its creatures. I'm an herbalist who encourages all to grow their own medicine and a first-generation beekeeper who sees Divine communal collaboration in the collective and a sacred thread that weaves their wellness into our own. My mission for Pouring Violet is to create opportunities to engage the community in, especially those that have been historically underserved.

We are a new organic certified farming operation. At present, we have a crop of organic wheat growing. Should harvest the crop in July and have it sold to a bakery and a craft brewery. We will be producing other crops for the craft brewery including blueberries, blackberries and mayhaws. We are getting our website up soon.
